We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, the EU Privacy and Communications Directive) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Why we hold and process personal data

We hold and process supporters’ personal data to send updates on our latest news stories and activities where we have their consent or are otherwise allowed to do so. If you would no longer like to receive our communications, we'd be sorry to see you go, but please opt out using the unsubscribe option on one of our emails.

Use of cookies

We do not use any cookies for marketing purposes. Our website uses both session and persistent cookies. Session cookies allow us to uniquely identify your browser while you are logged in and to process your online transactions. Session cookies disappear from your computer when the web browser is closed or computer is turned off.

How we hold your data

We use MailChimp to store and process your contact details and to send out communications to you, under their privacy policy terms, which are fully compliant with all European and UK data protection law. Any data stored outside of MailChimp (for instance as a backup) is in encrypted and password-secured files.
